Wheelwright Trail – Cohasset, MA
The Wheelwright Trail is located in Cohasset and is really nice! It’s a little busy because I think it’s pretty well known, but there’s plenty of room since it’s so big. There are about 230 acres in Wheelwright Park and a few different trails along with Barnes Wildlife Sanctuary. The trail also travels along Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset which is right up the street.
We hiked Wheelwright towards the end of the summer and it was a perfect day for it. Definitely not stroller friendly, or no bridges that I can recall so 0 score for both of those, but still very enjoyable!
There are a few trails here, so take a look at the trail map but we started off on Klondike Run and then looped around through the Eagle Trail. We stopped at the Devils Chair which was pretty cool but didn’t make it to the pond. It’s a little hilly and I mom failed and forgot snacks {never have I done that again} so our kids were getting a little grumpy but we’ll be back to do it again!
